Sales Funnel Fixer for Visionary CEOs⁣

This quote hit me HARD in the feels this week.

Hi Reader!

Here's the thing...when you work in marketing (and particularly in marketing operations), you see the world through an OMG this could be so much more efficient and effective prism.

I walk into the grocery store and I see obvious opportunities for upsells.

I visit my nail salon and I see obvious ways for expanding the average order value.

I go to a parent-teacher conference at my kids' school and I see obvious ways for making the communication systems easier on everyone (particularly the teachers!).

I love to create systems and strategic workflows that empower people to do their jobs better, make more money and have more fun.

But here's what I KNOW to be true. The best systems come *after* product-market and *after* something is built, launched, broken, re-built and finally, completed. To systematize too early is to lose focus and lose momentum.

Launch messy. Scale imperfectly. Keep the main thing the main thing. (And the main thing IS, if you're a business owner or a leader in someone else's business, revenue and profit...because they power the growth and the long-term sustainability that lets you focus on the non-revenue producing work down the line.)

Speaking of launching and scaling, I'm delighted to share that I am a featured speaker at the upcoming "Elevate Your Kajabi Business Summit," which is free to join:

This event takes place from June 5-June 11 and features an amazing lineup of presenters. I'm sharing how to Fix Your Funnels: 10 Simple Steps to Increasing Conversions by 20% (or More!) and I'm really excited to share some of the funnel hacks and strategies that are helping my clients generate tens of thousands of dollars each month, even with smaller audiences.

note: as a speaker, I also receive referral commission if you invest in one of the paid upgrades, but the event itself is totally free to join!

News you can use…

To close this week...

On social media, I was not-so-jokingly sharing my hesitation to invest in a pricy new hair tool (the $500 Dyson Airstrait) and someone in my DMs shared a perspective that I loved.

--> Money is a renewable resource. <--

This is a version of the abundance mindset that I'm constantly working on that really resonated with me. It's an empowering reminder that we are, each of us, in possession of valuable skills and knowledge and the ability to make magic happen.

Now, let's be clear: it is a privilege to be able to think and say that. It's never lost on me that for many, many people -- including many who read this newsletter! -- scarcity is real. Layoffs have crushed people in the last few months. Inflation and cost of goods makes it more difficult to pay for even basic necessities. And just wanting more money doesn't make it happen and when money DOES renew itself...it doesn't mean you need to spend it on a material item.

But I'm choosing to believe that I am capable of generating real revenue WHILE positively affecting my clients and my community, and I want you to believe it for yourself, too.

So, let's end where we began: launch. Launch now. Launch messy. Launch imperfectly. Learn, update, launch again and don't be afraid to take the leap and build your wings on the way down.
